Your probabal best answer is to get a train. The London Midland service from Walsall to Rugeley Trent Valley, then another London Midland service from Rugeley trent valley to Stoke-On-Trent, then the final East Midlands service from Stoke to Uttoexeter. Their is then a bus service from this station direct to alton towers theme park.

I know there is a Bus from Birmingham to Alton Towers which leaves at about 8;30 am and then comes back for around 6 or 7pm

Its not expensive at all and you can get an all in one ticket for the transport and entry to the park….go on national express or the travel West Midlands Ticket office on the ground floor of the Pavillions in Birmingham City Centre.

Hope you have a great day however ya get there :P
